Our Lady of the Lake Kindergarten
A garden of children...
Welcome to Kindergarten at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic School. The focus in kindergarten is to teach our students in an environment where they are nurtured as we strive to convey a love of learning. This appreciation for learning is rooted in our Catholic faith and its traditions. We value building a strong foundation of camaraderie and support within the class. This cohesiveness enables each student to foster his/her own individuality while providing a strong class dynamic which will blossom as the students advance through the grades at Our Lady of the Lake. We look forward to sharing our special community with you!

Service to Others
As one of their Schoolwide Learning Expectations, the children that attend Our Lady of the Lake Catholic School are called upon to provide service to others. The youngest students at our school took on that call to service with enthusiasm by participating in Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF. This annual tradition raises funds to help transform the lives of children all over the world. Every day, an estimated 25,000 children die from preventable causes such as limited access to clean drinking water, basic childhood medical attention, sufficient nutrition and immunizations. For the kindergarten students at our school this was an eye opening fact! The students were motivated to help kids just like themselves. After learning about the ways in which UNICEF assists children, and role playing how to go about collecting money for UNICEF along with their own trick-or-treating, the children were anxious to get started. After Halloween we determined that the kindergarten students earned $374.48! I am proud of their efforts and the students feel good about working together to heed Jesus' call to make a difference in the lives of their peers. Way to go Kindergarten Class!
